In coffee tasting the main senses that come into play are the sense of smell and taste, but also sight and touch play an important role. In fact a real “good” coffee is meant to be tasted and felt with the mouth and the nose, but to evaluate its quality the color of its cream and its consistency also have to be considered. Visual and tactile informations are therefore important aspects to consider in order to evaluate the quality of a product that is both consumed at the bar or at home.
